Different users on the LOOΠΔ Wiki have access to different functions of the site. While anyone can do most things on the site, including reading and editing, some users can access a few additional functions.
Bureaucrats and AdministratorsEdit
Bureaucrats are administrators who, in addition to the admin functions, have the ability to change the user rights for administrators and rollbacks and promote users to bureaucrat.
Administrators are entrusted with the ability to block and ban users as well as edit and delete comments/pages. They can also change the protection settings of pages and promote/demote chat moderators. The LOOΠΔ Wiki is currently looking for Administrators!
Rollback rights enable the user to use a [rollback] button to revert repeated vandalism to a page by the same user. They can also edit forum and message wall threads, rename files, change the protection settings of pages, and edit protected pages.
Content Moderators are users who have additional tools available to moderate specific parts of the community. These tools are:
- Deleting and moving protected pages
- Deleting and moving files
- Undeleting pages and files
- Re-upload files
- Protecting and unprotecting pages
The LOOΠΔ Wiki is currently looking for Content Moderators!
Discussions Moderators are users who have additional tools available to manage conversations in various features across the community where users are having discussions. These tools are:
- Removing and restoring threads and replies from any user
- Closing and reopening threads
- Moderating chat
- Deleting blog comments
- Editing and deleting article comments
- Moderating the Discussions
Chat Moderators are users who have the chat moderator status in chat to moderate a community's chat room. They can ban users from chat, which will kick a user out of the chat and prevent them from returning until a chat moderator, discussion moderator, or admin unbans them from the user's contributions page or until the ban expires.
The LOOΠΔ Wiki has currently disabled chat functions so chat moderators are not necessary.
